The Valle delle Ferriere is one of the most evocative routes on the Amalfi Coast, a true immersion in an almost tropical microclimate among prehistoric ferns and ancient paper mills​🌲 Excursion Details: Valle delle Ferriere​Starting Point: Amalfi Center.​Estimated Duration: 4 - 5 hours (hiking pace with stops).​Difficulty Level: Hiking (previous experience in nature required).​Clothing: Hiking gear required (shoes with sculpted soles, layered clothing).​💧 Refueling and Logistics​Each participant must be independent in terms of hydration:​Water: Minimum 500 ml - 1 liter per person.​Lunch: Option of a packed lunch or a stop at a local trattoria (payable locally)0 km products with typical local products. 🎟️ Excluded Costs (Extras)​Please note that the participation fee does not include:​Entrance to the Integral Reserve (where the waterfalls and rare ferns are located).​Entrance to the Paper Museum (located at the end or beginning of the route, depending on the tour).​💡 Some technical tips from "peers"​Since the route takes about 5 hours and requires experience, please keep in mind that:​The road surface: It can often be wet or slippery near the waterfalls, so hiking shoes are not only recommended, but a safety requirement.​The climate: Although it's warm in Amalfi, the temperature in the Valley drops several degrees due to the shade and humidity. A light jacket in your backpack is always a good idea.Paper Museum: If you plan to visit, check the last entry times, as after a 5-hour hike, you may arrive late in the afternoon.​Note: Make sure everyone has downloaded the offline map of the area; although the trail is marked, cell phone coverage inside the gorge can be spotty.
