A spectacular introduction to the Province of Gallura, and also to Sardinia. After a brief presentation of the city of OLBIA we head towards GOLFO ARANCI crossing a beautiful panoramic road, then we arrive at PORTO ROTONDO, a village famous for being the meeting place of Italian artists and intellectuals. Then we go up to the picturesque village of SAN PANTALEO, a charming village nestled between the granite peaks that still retains the typical style of the ancient villages of Gallura. Then we will go to COSTA SMERALDA and its capital PORTO CERVO, where we will visit La Piazza, the old port and the Stella Maris Church. Not far away we then pass to BAJA SARDINIA and visit Forte Capellini, which in the 19th century was an important fortress for the defense of northern Sardinia and in particular of the Maddalena Archipelago but now, under the name of PHI BEACH, is one of the most popular bar restaurant discos on the Costa Smeralda. Then we will see two important prehistoric monuments: the nuraghe La Prisciona (1800 BC) and the giant mushroom-shaped rock of ARZACHENA (3600 BC) and finally we will visit PALAU with the enchanting village of PORTO RAFAEL. The itinerary and stops of the excursion can obviously be modified at will according to the interests and preferences of the tour participants.
