ENG.Half-day trek (5-7 km) through woods and vineyards, followed by a tasting.A hike designed for private groups, exploring Val Trebbia through nature and wine.We'll set off from Travo (PC), making our way through chestnut woods and ridge trails. Along the way we'll enjoy panoramic views over the river and the valley's striking ophiolitic rocks — ancient fragments of ocean floor brought to the surface by the movements of the earth's crust, which for centuries have held history, legend, and a surprising colony of newts.As we walk, we'll talk about the environment, this valley's winemaking tradition, and the many faces of tannin, letting the nature around us guide the conversation.We'll finish among the vineyards of the Podere, discovering the secrets of organic winemaking, with a tasting of wines and local products 🍇📍 The route is indicative: we can plan it together among the different trails I offer in Val Trebbia, or build it around a specific natural site you're interested in (e.g. Pietra Perduca, the woods, the valley's historic sites).📝 THE HIKE FEE INCLUDES:*guided hike with a licensed environmental hiking guide*vineyard visit*tasting of 3 wines*platter of local products🥾 TECHNICAL DETAILS*Difficulty: Easy/medium hiking*Length: adjustable, 5-7 km depending on the route chosen*Elevation gain: adjustable, max. 300 m*Duration: approx. 2-3 hours (excluding stops)*Terrain: dirt tracks, mule tracks, trails; mud possible🎒 REQUIRED GEAR*Comfortable, layered clothing; waterproof windbreaker or rain cape/poncho*Hiking boots or shoes with grooved soles*Water: 1 literWe recommend keeping a full change of clothes in the car.ITA.Trek di mezza giornata (5-7 km) tra boschi e vigneti, seguito da degustazione.Un'escursione pensata per gruppi privati, alla scoperta della Val Trebbia tra natura e vino.Partiremo da Travo (PC), addentrandoci tra boschi di castagno e sentieri di crinale.
