Much more than a normal full-day outdoor trip. If you are looking for adventure, nature, unique landscapes and excellent local food, there is nothing better than this excursion. This excursion is a unique experience, full of excitement and guaranteed fun, suitable for everyone: adults, children, experts and occasional hikers. You'll be picked up at your accommodation, port, rail station or airport between 8:30/9:00 am. Along the way that will take us to Mt.Etna, your expert guide will explain you the stories and legends of the Etna villages and our volcano.Before starting our excursion, we will make a brief stop to a refuge where we will show you the itinerary while sipping a good coffee and you will take the needed equipment for the hike (we can provide trekking boots and jackets for free upon request).Then our expert nature guide will take over and accompany you through ancient forests and ancient and new lava flows, reaching the top of one of the many extinct lateral craters that offers breathtaking views.A second stop is planned to visit a lava tube, where equipped with helmets and torches, provided by us, we will go inside to discover its formation and history.For the lunch break we will stop at a typical mountain restaurant where for a low price you will have the opportunity to eat something genuine and local.Then in the first afternoon we'll visit the marvellous Alcantara's gorges, formed thousands of years ago thanks to several lava flows that invaded the bed of the river and formed these geometrically perfect rocks.
